It would be great if there were a 5.x version of this module.

I emailed one of the earlier developers ("rabello", I think) a week or two ago, but no response of yet. It was hard for me to tell who was most active most recently. Agree it would be grand to update this.

Let me clarify things:
I really took over this module because I see it's very useful.
I have some plans but I frozen things when Drupal 5.0 was about to show up.
Now I am ready to resume working and I think I will start with providing a Drupal 5.x version.

I am very interested in this module as well. I have done a bit of php coding, and would like to contribute. I haven't done much coding for Drupal, but it doesn't look too hard. Is the latest build that is available the 5.x module? Maybe we can work together to get this working.

Well, not yet really.
I am way too busy and I lack the proper environment to test.
I'll make sure this module gets some love in the next few weeks.
