Group Forum does not respect Group User Role [#1175688]

OG User Roles 4.1
OG Forum 2.2

Hacking my way through the thicket of OG Forum-related permissions issues, I've run into a strange one: when a user with Role 1 permissions in Group A (and *only* Group A), granted via OG User Roles, views the list of Group A's forums (node/1/og/forum/1, say), the OG Details block no longer shows all the various options that Role 1 should have access to. Instead, the Details block shows only the options a Group member (without a User Role in that Group) would have. If I view any other page or tool via the Details block, I get all the usual options. This affects only node/1/og/forum/* pages -- that is, a view of the container page as well as any subforum.

I'm also getting an "Access Denied" when I try to view the group's "Manage Group Forums" page at og_forum/manage/1. Not sure if that's related.
