Hello, I have searched for this but I haven't found anything exactly related.

My site is running Drupal 6.19 with WYSIWYG (6.x-2.1), CKEditor (CKEditor 3.3.1.5586) and CCK ImageField (6.x-3.7) and we have seen where toggling the view between the WYSIWYG and Source views duplicates the list of attributes for an embedded image. This is how it's done:

  • Use the 'embed' WYSIWYG button (normally last button on the WYSIWYG toolbar)
  • Select a photo
  • After the photo is in the article, clicking the Source button will show the image node with a 'styleName' attribute (with values such as "Large", "small", etc.).
  • [[nid:30575; ; styleName:large]]

  • Clicking the 'source' button a few times and see if the 'styleName' attribute is duplicated a few times
  • [[nid:30575; styleName:large; styleName:large; styleName:large]]

I have seen this happen in FF 3.6 and FF4 as well as IE 6/7.

If there is somehow a configuration setting or workaround, please let me know. Thanks.

Which module is adding the "Embed" button? I think this might be a problem in their editor plugin.

Hello. I'm not exactly sure which module is adding the embed button. I'm attaching screenshots of the button and the resulting dialog box it opens for reference.

Is there a way I can find out which modules are involved with adding buttons?

Thanks for your help.

I'm sorry for the long delay.
I do not recognize that icon or dialog, but I could probably make a qualified guess if I had to pick a name from a list of installed modules.

One easy way to check which module provides the plugin is to temporarily disable (but not uninstall!) a any media-related modules you have and see if the plugin's button disappears. Another would be to inspect the HTML around the checkbox in the Buttons and Plugins list when configuring the editor profile to see if the name of the checkbox gives you a hint. It should include the module or plugin name.

Since this problem appears to be caused by a plugin, I don't think we can fix it in Wysiwyg itself.
