Taxonomy plugin

Last updated on
30 April 2025

The taxonomy plugin allows you to manage your terms on a mindmap.

Enable the [Graphmind taxonomy] module, create a new Graphmind node and on the edit form check in the Taxonomy plugin.
When you save it and see the map you have a new context menu option: [Load taxonomy tree]. It loads all the taxonomies and their terms in the same hierarchy as it is. Creating a new child, loading a Drupal item or moving a map node to a term will add them as new terms. Renaming the title of the term node changes the name of the term. Drag and dropping terms will reorder the structure at the backend too. Removing a term map node will remove the Drupal term.

When you save the map with a loaded taxonomy subtree it stores that state (when you saved it). When open it next time it will refresh the taxonomy subtrees to the current state from the database.

(Currently it's only available for the Drupal 6 version.)
