jstools edit in place, tinymce/moxie, and excerpt

First, a word to say that this is a fantastic extension to Drupal. The collapsible menus are just great for navigation.

Now to the problems...

1) is edit in place available only in my blog? it seems to be the only place I can see it. i'd love to be able to edit book pages in place, for example. yes, i could click on the edit tab, but both for myself and users, it seems like it would be nice to have this option instead. the drupal edit pages have so much information, they aren't very user friendly.

2) it seems to conflict with the moxie version of tinymce, I get a new blank page that says disable rich text, but it never otherwise loads.

3) having disabled moxie, it works fine, but i can only edit the post body. i have the excerpt module in place so that I can put what I want on my blog page. Is there any option of seeing that? yes, I suppose that conflicts with the simplicity of #1 and I guess I could live without it.
