It would be nice if this module had the ability to secure the registration page as well. I will include the patch with a comment to this feature request. My patch simply adds an option in the module settings to redirect to https for the registration page.

jeckste, good idea. Before I commit it, would you possibly be interested in taking over maintainership of this module? I myself haven't used it in years, much less coded on it…
