Is it possible to configure openscholar to allow users to choose a "project site" or a "scholar site" when they request a site? I noticed that Harvard is hosting two separate instances of openscholar for this purpose, but didn't know if anyone else had tried combining the two models in a single install.
Thanks for any info.
Rick

ferdi commentedThey are not really different. You can just pick any profile. Two main differences that comes in my mind are the features that are enabled by default (personal profiles have 'publications' enabled by default but not project profile) and the logo widget (personal profile enables a logo by default and project profile doesnt).
thanks,
Ferdi

snowmountain commentedI notice there is a conflict, on the feature list at
admin/build/features
where feature Scholar Project is listed as having a conflict with scholar, vsite, and is also listed as unavailable.
Is this related to the issue here, or something unique to my config?
My site is the Scholar, not project, version of the install, with drupal 6.22, Open Scholar 6.x-1.0 beta 1
I made few changes, other than installing some additional modules.

eärendil commentedI am running Drupal 6.22 and OpenScholar 13beta and have this conflict as well. It looks like you have to choose between enabling one or the other and can't run both on the same instance (or if you try you just get conflicts between the two features). I tried modifying the features and strongarm modules to see if I couldn't make it work, but still kept running into conflicts.
