Still struggling choosing best module for uploading images in posts.

I'm trying to select a 21st century module(s) to make it easy for 'not computer literate' users to insert images into their blog posts, with ability to rearrange and resize them within the content.

Also:

* allow to select imagecache presets
* sort files into folders by tokens (i.e. upload path)
* clicking the resized image in the post should display the original image (i.e. lightbox)
* and would be nice to be able to show image thumbnail gallery in views, with each thumbnail linked to the post

Just please share what modules YOU prefer please?

So far I found most suitable modules:

  • imagepicker - no Lighbox, no Imagecache support
  • imagebrowser - unfortunately can't get it working, click Insert - nothing happens
  • wysiwyg_imagefield - unstable insertion (for me at least)
  • wysiwyg_imageupload - so far I like the most, but requires jquery.ui 1.7.3 which breaks some other modules (or may be just my luck of experience)

But Jquery module should work with 1.7(but not sure about 1.8)
Make sure that you update Jquery update module too.
