I got it to work with images, but it completely ignores the Media: Youtube or even media uploaded videos. The whole media/file upload thing changed recently. Any instructions or guidance? I followed tutorial step by step and couldn't get it to work. If I do uploaded images, they work fine, but media: youtube videos will not show.

Hmm. I have gotten Mediafront to work with Media: Youtube before. The major problem I had was that it wasn't displaying the youtube thumbnails. Check your views filters.

The 7.x-2.x version of MediaFront can pull in thumbnails and video from Youtube. You do not need an additional module for this functionality. Please see http://drupal.org/node/1563590 for a guide to set this up.
