My hosting provider offers Fantastico. I upgraded my Drupal from 4.75 to 5.1. Now my theme is gone and the login boxes are gone as well. I have no way to login. What did I do wrong and how can I fix this?

1. access your ftp to change update.php
// Enforce access checking?
$access_check = FALSE;

2. run: yoursite.com/update.php

3. Log in your site at:
yoursie.com/?q=user

4. change your themes at:
yoursite/?q=admin/build/themes

5. uninstall your old modules
/?q=admin/build/modules

Hello,

Thanks for the tips. I updated via fantastico. I should have remembered to put my theme back to a "normal" theme, but I forgot. So, I had no menus. Just very plain text. Using your steps 3 and 4 above I was able to login.

When you use "name" above, you mean not your username, but the actual word "user"!
