Can anyone suggest me a good tool or a software for load testing a website. i want a software which produces a virtual users of 50 or more. Any help is appreciated

At Evolving Web, we usually use Apache JMeter.

You may be interested in trying out NeoLoad. It is easier to learn and use than majority of other tools on the market (including Jmeter). One place where NeoLoad really shines is in its support for newer "Web 2.0" technologies such as the Flex protocols, push technologies, etc. A free trial download is available from www.neotys.com.

Hi,

According to me, if you are looking for a free tool then you can go with the Jmeter. but If you can pay a little amount then I will say you can choose Neoload test tool as I am currently working on it and found it the most easily learning and the most Powerfultool. Currently People are not aware with this tool much but you see most of the big brands will starts using it in the coming years.
