Hey there everyone, while this isn't my first Drupal site, this is by far the most fun right now.
I recently launched http://howyoucanvolunteer.org as a directory and community site for volunteer and charity research and resources.
I purchased the site a few weeks ago from a guy who had launched it as a Hurricane Katrina relief website, well I saw a lot of potential in it (he had stopped developing it and he had a forum on there that was riddled with spam so i'm fighting an uphill battle with the SEs since they had indexed all that spam and weren't happy with it)
Anyway, I've got quite a few modules in there but haven't turned them all on yet as I haven't had time to make all of it work the way I want. Eventually I'd like to open it up and give people their own free blogs where they can share stories about volunteering and such. Of course that's already in the store as far as functionality but I don't have the money or smarts to drive that sort of traffic yet :-(
Anyway, take a look and send me some feedback! I'd greatly appreciate it!
Thanks!
Jonathan

Good, could be better (IMO)
Why do people come to your site?
It's a site where people can find out information about volunteering in America. Do people come to your site with a specific organisation in mind or are they looking for a type of organisation (e.g. I want to work with a childrens charity). I think the content could be made more accessible, there doesn't seem to be any order to the content on the homepage so how can a visitor find what they are looking for?. One possible way is to organize it alphabetically, another by subject (e.g. Hurricane Relief fund).
I'd also use the teaser (excerpt?) module on the frontpage and only list the charities name and a brief description of their purpose on the frontpage. e.g. Make a wish foundation America. Helping children with life-threatening medical conditions.
You have plenty of reasons to be proud of this website. Keep up the good work!
