I've come across this issue on a regular basis when adding a filter in of Taxonomy: Term (ID) with a selection type of Dropdown using 'Show hierarchy in dropdown'.

The term listing doesn't want to display, It's happened for other filters as well. Please see attached file. If i open the view in another tab at the same time and click the filter the terms appear (as seen in attached).

It slows down my development to a crawl and gets very annoying at times. Has anyone come across this?

If, when this happens, you refresh the page and re-open the modal for that filter immediately, does the select appear?

In general please try to update to views dev and ctools dev to be sure that there aren't already fixed issues.

This appears to of been fixed I'm not having the issue anymore running the latest versions of both Views & Chaos Tools.
