A recent site with -dev modules is not allowing me to choose the date field for filtering my contextual argument.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a content type (event) with a date field
2. Submit content to this content type
3. Edit the calendar view and set a filter on your event content type
4. Edit the calendar view (contextual filter) "Date: Date (node) (Content: Updated date)" and select your date field.
5. Date field is not showing in step 4

I was following step by step this screencast: http://drupaltherapy.com/date_d7.
Even if Views had some changes, once at mins 15:18 I was expected to see the "Fields: field_date" checkbox but it wasn't there.
