I want to categorize my forums using the taxonomy heirarchy but when I create those categories form the category page, they are not displayed on the "Create new forum topic" page. Is there a way to force the forums to use the categories created on the category page? and for settings, I did check "Forum topic", yet the category terms are not available on a forum post. I don't understand it.

Woops, I didn't mean to write the word "categories" so many times in my original post. But, alas, I cannot edit the post, so it remains. Really, I'm just curious as to how forum containers work in relation to the taxonomy module in 5.1.
