I tried turning on the functionality by visiting admin/settings/content-types --page/story etc.

I can see a "Send to Friend" block on each content type page but there is nothing in it. No "enable" "disable" option. Just blank below.

I changed collapsed to FALSE in send.inc and was able to see the menu in content types.

Now I see the button on nodes in firefox. I don't see the button in IE.

I can see the 'Send to a friend' link, I fill out the form, but no email is ever sent. It seems like it is working. I even get a message that the email was sent. Am I missing a setting? I followed the instructions.

Does it have anything to do with private/public files upload?

Sounds like the host is eating the email.

I use return path to fix that problem
