I think the question is clear, how can I create an event and when the user registers he has an option to book a hotel room? I tried to find it in the documentation but I couldn't find anything.

I think the question is clear too, but it's not a feature that cod provides :(

I'm marking this as a feature request to add that feature, re-titling, and setting it to be postponed.

In talking to various conference organizers and camps, everyone seems to feel that this is best handled by linking to the hotels themselves and that they don't want the extra responsibility of handling hotel room troubleshooting.

If someone is interested in this use case and would like to work on this functionality, I think it would best be supported in a contrib commerce module.
