Many users, for one reason or another, cannot not use the First Data Web Services API to complete transactions. Common reasons for this: shared hosting environments with no support for SSL certificates or the host will not open required port for cURL requests.

First Data Connect alleviates these problems by directing users to First Data's server to complete a transaction. Support for this method should be added to this module.

I would love to see support for this added, and would be more than happy to help test out this module on my site.

Thank you for your work on this module. This is the functionality I'm looking for as well. Did any of you figure out a way to make this happen?

So, this doesn't seem to have been touched in over a year!

And according to First Data, they don't support this type of account, so the module's no good for new accounts. Any movement towards getting a First Data Global Gateway API module together? (Or interest in such code, if I must write it myself?)

Im working on a site right now with this plugin, but I havent received the proper credentials to test it out. I'm going to attempt credentials from a dev account.

Have you tested this yet?

Has anyone made progress on this issue? I am also working on a site that plans to use the First Data Connect2 service and needs recurring support as well.

If the OP is in reference to FD's Rapid Connect, I would love to see this as well. I was talking to the RC folks a few weeks ago and the possibility to remove the gateways from the equation would be huge.

I'd be willing to help sponsor this although i would imagine this feature would need to be a separate module.
