Nodewords Alpha Version broken Too

We have tried Stable Dev Alpha and they are all broken.
The alpha version now says You have not yet enabled any meta tags for administrative settings pages.
But we have done this like 5 times. It has crashed the watch dog table and the other versions do not really work either.
Can someone, anyone please give us a heads_up about what will work without destroying our sites and data. This is so hard to follow even read the intro info over and over. We have spent hours fixing our sandbox site and trying to get these to work to no avail.
