Selective filters compatibility with other views exposed filters or add the feature to handle other fields than taxonomy terms

When you expose some other filters along with taxonomy term exposed filters, the other filters behaviour is reverted. (I mean they filter the view the other way around as they should, let's take an example to explain this in an understandable fashion...)

For example I tried to use a country exposed filter. If you select Luxembourg, it actually hides the nodes with Luxembourg instead of displaying them only.
So I open an issue for this feature request for compatibility with other exposed filters, or even better if views filters selective could filter ather fields from core or contributed modules, it would be wonderfull.
