Nodes in reverse order, but only for my account
scain - February 13, 2007 - 05:26
Hello,
I have a strange problem: for my account only (user 1), the nodes on the main page are in reverse order, that is, the oldest node is at the top of the page and the newest is at the end. If I log out or create a test user, the nodes are in the correct order. I was using version 4.6.5 but upgraded to 4.6.11 today in hopes that it would fix this problem. Any ideas what could be causing this or how to fix it?
The only non-stock module I am using is the taxonomy access module and i am using the phptemplate engine with the gworks theme (which is why I haven't upgraded to 4.7 or 5).
Thanks,
Scott

Scott--
I ran into the same problem. Then I saw a thread somewhere on Drupal.org (I no longer know where) that traced the problem to an update in MySQL that introduced a bug.
The bug was reported, and a patch for it provided, at http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=21456.
I hope this helps.
Cordially,

I would be surprised if it is a mysql bug
since it happens only for my account and no other; nevertheless, I'll check it out.
Thanks,
Scott
maybe it is the mysql bug
But I'm apparently not going t find out because my hosting company refuses to upgrade their mysql :-/
