After saving any change to a node via the Calais tab the Automatic alias button on the node will uncheck itself and the alias value will be deleted.

Really scratching our heads on this one. Any help would be appreciated.

I suspect this is a general problem with how data is saved as this site I'm helping with also looses data from the Scheduler module upon saving the Calais terms.
