Seems that anonymous voting is not working correctly. If I cast an anonymous vote it works but then anyone else that casts an anonymous vote overwrites my vote and the new vote is not counted as a separate instance.

hickory commentedThere shouldn't be any anonymous voting.

JLJLJLJL commentedAh, ok. Thanks Hickory. I guess I'll change this to a feature request then. :)

shyamarjarapu commentedapart from the above, I think voting itself is restricting per IP. Today I was testing with one of the rating question in my office network. I was able to vote (using my login id), however a colleague from different PC (but within the network) using his own ID, cannot cast the vote. he could cast the vote, only once he went home. (because it's completely different IP)
I am not sure if the above assumptions in the given scenario are right. If they are right, please suggest what should be done so that logged in user independent of IP address and anonymous user is restricted only by IP. This indirectly means that every user can cast a vote once without logging in and once after logging in.
I am not sure if restricting by ip (exposed network ip) is good idea.

PS: If I need to post this in VotingAPI then let me know

hickory commentedIf voting's really being restricted by IP address, it's nothing to do with jRating.
