I created an event "After updating existing content",
Condition: Updated content is MYCONTENT.
Action: Send an HTML mail to a user.

Everything I put into the field "HTML message:" vanishes after "Save" and when the event is triggered I get a warning:

The email is send correctly but shows only the content from the field "Text message:"

Thank you for submitting a issue / support request for Rules 1. Sorry it was not attended to earlier; I hope you found the information you were seeking in another resource, such as the Rules Drupal 6 documentation.
