We have two problems right now:

1. There's an announcement-only group at http://groups.drupal.org/drupal-initiatives piping useful information for everyone to know about Drupal 8 initiatives. But almost no one knows it exists.

2. Drupal Planet at times gets seemingly overridden with marketing stuff and other non-technical material which turns developers off. More technical material would help that.

So, let's add http://groups.drupal.org/node/148119/feed to Drupal Planet. Two problems solved! :)
