I would like to be able to use the body field in the slider content as a second text overlay. If anyone has accomplished this I would be eternally grateful (eternity being kinda hard to prove) if you could pass along this knowledge. Be forewarned I am a Views novice if even that.

I solved my problem by using Views Slideshow: Dynamic Display Block instead.
