Is it possible that certain content types, like computer workstations, to be "signed out" outside of regular hours? I have the computers set to automatically sign out and sign back in, but they are still restricted to the regular tech support hours. I want 24 hour access to that particular item type.

Possible?

This is what the Rule/Role Override module did, but merci_rro was broken by updates made after beta10. It actually took it a step further and allow certain content types for certain roles to override any rule.

That submodule is no longer included in the project...

If there is enough interested in updating it, I would use a structure similar to what was developed for http://drupal.org/project/merci_quota

Not sure how DOA Merci Quota and rro is are at the moment, I just stumbled on this post, but I would certainly vote for porting both features. We have the exact same need as the author of this post. So I second the motion.
