While writing a use case for a new sandbox project, I came up with two more ideas related to the way multiple-values are presented.

1. A 'list terminator'. I don't know what the proper term for this would be.
Example: Full stop at the end of the list.
Favourite animals: Lions, tigers, hyenas.

2. A different delimiter at the penultimate and final items.
Favourite animals: Lions, tigers and hyenas.

These are probably a bit biased towards English, so it might be worth finding out if there is any formal terminology for these things.

Agreed, they certainly are. There isn't any need to treat the Oxford comma differently though. It would just be a case of setting ", and" as the last delimiter.
