This was causing me an issue with using https in a situation where we were using a custom SSL redirect. Will attach once I have the issue number :)

Wow, thanks for this. Was having an issue with uc_discount_alt where it's ajax was breaking only when it was on a page with https which I had configured with redirects through htaccess. This fixed it for me. Thanks a TON!

i have the same problem.. (i think because somehow in ssl mode the discount is not correctly applied, i don't know what causes this.. because some costumers complain the discount is not working, but mostly when i test it.. it does work)

but if i add this patch then discount is totally not showing up (for me)
I use ubercart ssl module (uc_ssl) what should have the ?q converted to clean urls but i'm not sure...

Is there something missing in this patch?
