Drop list doesn't trigger rule [#1189404]

I'm attempting to trigger a rule based upon the Language dropdown form submitted event. I've enabled form events for the Lang dropdown form, selected the 'submit' condition for the trigger and chosen a simple watchdog log entry as the "output". Selecting the dropdown doesn't trigger en event (I've tried both the HTML and Javascript version of the widget and neither work).
Triggers do appear to be working correctly for other events on the same page.

Language Switcher Dropdown
I think the same here
First before installing anything it works perfectly
but adding mani modules that works with javascript plugins like flexslider
The dropdown menu stops it can redirect no more the user to the language page desired it is a dropdown without life icons and text with a dropdown that is here to do nothing
It is so away to see the real problem with jquery since i ve got to disable all
