I am unable to enable CCK Fields in Subscriptions because it says Content is missing. There's no such module by that name. Isn't it too generic?

Content module was moved into core as field.module.

subscriptions_cck.module is not ready for that yet.

Fields are now available as tokens. subscriptions_cck.module is not needed for D7 anymore.
