hey there,

I love Zen. it's the only theme I ever need / want to work with.

I do however miss more regions. when I saw that Bartik adds a highlighted on top, tryptich on the bottom and four columns in the footer I was blown away.

(please, bear with me before you mutter "thanks a lot, jensimmons"... LOL.)

the use case for such areas is when you need your sidebars AND some content on top of them, or under. using panels obviously won't help because a panel pane will squish between the columns.

and the whole point of using zen + zenophile combo is to avoid customising .INFO files and such. I mean I could go with fusion, but they haven't automated their subtheme creation process yet, which is why I'm suggesting this here.

so, what do you think? :)

cheers,
Luciano

That's not the whole point of Zen; you should absolutely be editing the .info file in your sub-theme. Don't know about Zenophile; I don't use it. The drush command for new sub-themes is handier.
