When a spammer is banned, their private messages should be deleted as well.

Not a bad idea. I don't use Private messages myself.

Perhaps the Private Messages module developers would care to contribute a patch?

I'm going to close this ticket.

I'm not going to do this out of my own volition because I don't see sufficient need nor usage.

If someone wants to contribute a patch or sponsor development, I'm open to discussion.
