Can anyone guide me to modify "themes/chameleon/marvin "? Personally, I like the design because it's simple and clean.

However, the "marvin" theme doesn't show:

  1. Author's user name and its link (for user profile) on pages and comments
  2. Submitted date

Is there a best way to modify the theme?

Thanks.

Hello you may be able to go to administer->themes then press the configure tab at the top. Once there you will be able to see a field set about post info. Thats the one you want.

If you have problems, just let me know and i'll try to make it more clear.

First of all, I appreciate to your attention.

I tried as you instructed. I still have the same issue. I did:

administer->themes->marvin->configure

"Display post information on
Enable or disable the submitted by Username on date text when displaying posts of the following type."

and I checked all of contents type. (There is no checkbox for comments even though I have enabled it and use it now. Just in case, I checked "chameleon" theme, too.

The result is:

--- I can see author's username and date only on the forum list(and admin pages) but not on user's pages.
--- I can't see them on any other pages.
--- I can't see them on comment pages, either.

I switched to other theme for testing. Yes, I can see the author's name and date.

It appears that the chameleon & marvin theme don't support author's username and date display on the contents. What am I missing?

Same problem here, ...have you had any luck yet??

I tried the other new Marvin variations, but none of them look quite the same as the original one, and also many don't work at all with calls to undefined functions.

So i have a theme that is perfect, all i need to do is add the date and person who posted, ..something i managed to modify easily in 'meta', ...but there is no node.tpl with this theme, ..i have ascertained the function that loads in the content, but do not know where the $content is actually defined.

Can it really be that difficult to add a date and time to this theme???

Please help.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find any solutions for the theme unless I switched to another theme. I hope the author of the theme includes the feature....
