This seems like a nice feature.

Your patch didn't apply, I think you the comparison was not against a truly original file (compare the patches to see the difference). I also created one for 7x. I also changed $fullmail to $full_mail - the standard is to use an underscore to separate words in a variable name.

Can you test this out?
