I might be missing something, please correct me if I'm wrong. It appears that you can only have one setup/configuration for HTML area (what options you enable and select) but users in different roles have different input formats applied to their content... i.e. some users are restricted to filtered HTML, others to full HTML, etc. however it appears that irrespective of these input restrictions the same set of HTML area options is shown to all users... since the filter strips out what isn't allowed, when the user posts their message, all the pretty HTML is stripped away... very frustrating to them; is there a way to conditionally apply what user can see/use HTMLArea? or even better can you select different configurations/options for different roles (so that I can create configurations to match each filter)?

this is a great idea,but I am not sure how to implement this, and what settings need to be split for different roles, and what happens when a user has multiple roles?
I really like this, and what to do t, but there is going to need to be sopme fleshing out.
