I have tested the 5.1 but i face some slight problem with the 4.7, as i don't see option to enable blog content in admin/settings/linktocontent even after i have enabled default, taxonomy and forum extension.
the blog content was using the a taxonomy vocab called tags.

4.7.x doesn't show all content types by default.
I will look ad create a new extension (linktonode_blog.inc or something like this).
