buttons greyed out

Description
I just installed htmlarea-5.x-2.0-beta2 and Xinha_compressed_0.91beta and can not get it to work.
The page loads fine but the buttons on the top are greyed out a mouse over shows they all point to void().
Looking at the Xendra forums shows that other folks are seeing the same thing.
BTW:
I did have a minor issue with installing it since the Xinha tar ball no longer contains an internal xinha directory and had to create it myself before untaring the file.
Also the Xinha.css file was not being referenced correctly and I ended up creating a softlink from the root directory to the file.
