I checked "required" in field's options, but nevertheless while node creation in the available list of views there is "none" option, which should not be available.
So for example when
1) I choose only 1 available view
and
2) check "required"
and
3) choose a view as default value as in case "1"

there should be no even select list available, only one view by default.

Isn't it?

Well the select list should be available, just not have the "none" option. I'll look into it soon.

Looks like the 'required' property isn't even set.
