I have tried sitemenu with Localizer and it only translates the Vocabulary names ?

is it more compatible with I18n ? or not at all.

Any directions to hack it would be greatly appreciated.

Well that node is about 4.6x version,

That is the reason I posted a new issue here.

I realize that, but want info from klance about which version worked, since this will trace when the problem was introduced, then I can compare versions, and then put a fix for 5.x.

Anyway, I committed a version that should work well with i18n.

Please wait for 8 hours, then download the tarball.

Title: Sitemenu multilingual ? » Sitemenu multilingual with Localizer

I just tested the latest dev package and it works well with Localizer
translating as necessary the the category names and vocabulary terms

but only when viewing the /sitemenu page

the block display only translates the category names but does not translate the vocabulary terms

So I believe its probably a minor hack to make it work nicely

I am trying to see what is going on (but I am new to Drupal developing) but if you can offer some help it would be greatly appreciated

The previous post is not exactly correct,

the sitemenu works with Localizer only when the "Cache the taxonomy tree for performance" is disabled

otherwise you only get the the last cached version

If you want to follow up with the author of localizer, and he can provide a tested and working patch that does not break anything else, I will commit it.

Otherwise, I don't have the time for installing and testing modules that I do not use.
