Sort order for facet links: doesn't work for cck date field

Hi,

I searched for this issue, and I found http://drupal.org/node/1104562, but it doesn't work for 6.x version.

The problem arise only with date field (I didn't try with a simple create/update node date, but only with a cck date field) that cannot be sorted by year/date (index desc doesn't work).
