Can any one please suggest a good DB maintenance tutorial for a DB newbie . Eg how many records should you have in a single table, how to optimise, how to identify slow queries and then what to do about it (when you have no knowledge of db) . Ideally would be a set of checks to make to ensure all is running as they should
