It would be nice to share user_picture on d7 multisites (with different database per domain/subdomain). I guess there will be some problem with file_managed and file_usage tables... I don't think u can share them if you are not sharing some more "content" tables. Or maybe there is simpler way to do that in d7 ?

Unfortunately I no longer have a use for this module and most of my free time is taken developing Facet API. Would love to get someone to take over maintenance of this module if they have a use for it.

I would be glad to take care about new d7 version but without upgrade path from d6.

The way it will work like gravatar - one of the sites will serve like gravatar provider others will use pictures from it.
