I was looking for a module that can auto assign the taxonomies of one node to a node created from node reference CCK field. For example, I might have a content type of "Main Games", and a Content type of "Titles". I should be able to create "Main Games 1" with a taxonomy of "Tekken", and then create a node reference (w/auto create), to a "Title 1, 2 and 3" which would all take on the "Tekken" taxonomy.

I'm not sure if people have been asking exactly the same question. I have however seen people suggest Default Taxonomy, but that seems to be only based on Content type.

Does anyone know of a module capable of auto assigning taxonomy in this manner?

Not that it's a module but your idea sounds 90%+ like this.

Not tested that myself though.
