Today I've finished moving the site of Kayak and Canoe Club Wageningen "De Bovenste Polder" to Drupal, from a self-baked template solution ! In a couple of days, I'll post about some issues I ran into on the way, but for now, I just want to express a BIG THANKS to everyone who helped creating this software ! The concepts are great, the code is clean, the themes are clean too.
When I "met" Drupal, I was really, really tired of searching for a suitable CMS. I have months of searching behind me and have given many systems a decent chance by trying to implement it. But often they've let me down when I was almost ready ... I was so desperate that I was considering creating a CMS myself, even though I don't have the time to seriously take on such a project. Drupal saved the day !
