Hi !!

I have a problem with the locale module since I upgraded to 4.5. I've been used Drupal since 4.3 and using locale gettext module.

The problems I've noticed are:

* Importing from a file doesn't work. It does nothing, it doesn't show any output.
* Translating strings using "Manage strings" menu doesn't work either. The page reloads and doesn't show any message. Strings seem not to change.

I have another Drupal installation on the same server and locale works flawlessly. I've noticed that the amount of total strings is much lower.

I tried erasing locales_source, locales_target and locales_meta, then when I import the file I don't have any translated string (it says 0/0 and later 0/a few). Then I erased again the tables and installed the ones from the working installation and I can see translated text but importing from a file doesn't work (I installed a new language).

Finally I rolled back to the original database, erased the added language (NL) and imported the file without seeing any message of the successful import and I didn't see any new strings.

Has anyone noticed the same problem? Should I issue a bug report?

Thanks in advance.

I tried using another browser when importing a file and when I click the "Import" button the connection is closed.

It was an Apache problem. I found this on the error_log: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 64 bytes). I looked on Google and I found the solution: increasing the maximum memory a PHP script can use (from 8 to 16Mb) in /etc/php.ini
