From the modules homepage it says, "Place a ShareThis block anywhere on your site". Does this module automatically create a block to be used? If so, it doesn't appear so.

I've only worked on the 7x version, but it was done on a different codebase than the 6x version. The description on the main page is mostly for the 6x version, so perhaps there is a block there?

I've installed and configured sharethis-7.x-1.1 as per the instructions on sharethis.com. No buttons are displayed. Is this a known issue?

Edit: The buttons now appear on articles in both teaser and node views. All content types are checked in sharethis settings, but buttons only appear on articles. Have cleared all caches. Am I missing something?

There was major widget upgrade yesterday by ShareThis, perhaps there are some odd issues related to the transition? Let me know if this persists beyond a day.

Did you enable the ShareThis block module?

If so, you should find it under "Structure" -> "Blocks" under "Disabled"

I'll attach a screenshot of what I am seeing. Let me know if you see differently.

Did everything as described in #11, to no avail.

The block is available in the Seven theme, but not in the Omega theme.

I can confirm that the block appears as expected in any sites I have using omega. @knalstaaf, what happens when you go to /admin/structure/block/manage/sharethis_block/sharethis_block/configure ?

Thanks nicoz, that actually solved it.

I followed your link, came to the block settings of "ShareThis", assigned a region on that page, and clicked "Save" - and there it was, right where it's supposed to be.

I can't think why it wasn't visible at first. Rolled my eyes multiple times over the block list, hit ctrl+F "share" - no result. But after saving it through the given direct link it popped up in the block list, and remained there, after moving and disabling it as well.

may have been a caching issue. Anybody stumbling upon this, try clearing your cache at admin/config/development/performance

It may be a caching issue, but I did clear the cache (first reflex when things don't budge). Think I ran cron as well, not sure.

Issue summary: View changes

I have the same problem, the block is enabled and in my footer region. But it wont show up. Have cleared cache and run cron many times.

The Block only loads... 10% of the time, and that's being generous.
Has anyone found a solution? It's odd, the main... structure loads, but the 's that contain the actual functionality don't load.
