Do subscribers and IPNs show up when using sandbox, because I'm not seeing anything.
Thanks

john franklin commentedYes, PayPal sends IPNs in Sandbox mode, and you should be able to receive them. There are a couple common reasons for this:

SharonD214@aol.com commentedok, I'm testing on localhost, so your first two points could be the problem. I'm not using secure pages, so that isn't it. I'll try it out on my live site and see how it goes.
Thanks

SharonD214@aol.com commentedok, I'm still not getting IPNs or any subscribers on my live site, so I'm not behind a firewall. I'm not sure I understand point 2. Can you tell me how I might check on this?
Thanks
Sharon

SharonD214@aol.com commentedAlso will IPNs work with the site in maintenance mode?
john franklin commentedNo. PayPal will get the same "site offline" redirect, which will (soft) fail the IPN. I believe PayPal will attempt to resend the IPN periodically for at least a couple of days before failing the notice completely. Note, you still get the payment even if the IPN fails completely, but not notice of payment. For this and other reasons, the reporting from the LM PayPal module should never be considered complete and accurate. Like a checking account, the site owner should reconcile the reporting with statements from PayPal.

SharonD214@aol.com commentedok, got it.
Thanks so much for you help.

SharonD214@aol.com commentedok, I had IPN's and subscribers working but now I haven't been getting any IPN notifications or additional subscribers for a while and know I have subscribers because notices are coming from Paypal. Any ideas where I might check for a problem?
Thanks
