I'm running Drupal 5.0 and am using the Image and Image Gallery modules for my photos. I've got a couple of problems with them that I'm hoping that someone else has already solved:

1. Photos in albums are sorted in descending order which makes the last photo taken the first photo shown. So you see the bride and groom leaving for their honeymoon first and the bride walking down the aisle last. Does anyone know an easy way to make the image sort order ascending?

2. Is there anyway to control blocks on image nodes in a universal fashion?I want to hide all blocks on all image nodes. You can easily do this with albums from within the block/admin area but since images are just simple nodes that are not placed by Drupal in the database where they could be referenced as a group (as they should IMHO) you cannot use the simple image/tid/* kind of trick on individual images.

Thanks in advance for any help.

With help from blicod and Lynn we solved the "problem" of the order that images are displayed by the Image Gallery module. It involves changing the sort order from DESC to ASC (from descending to ascending) in one of the Image Gallery functions.

See http://drupal.org/node/120587#comment-202191 for the specifics.

Now if only I could get some help getting rid of blocks on image pages I would be set.

Still hoping.
