Values are lost by accidently submitting form

This problem does not occur on a fresh install of FileField. Sounds like another module you have installed may be causing this loss-of-values upon validation.

{groan} I'm in the same boat unfortunately. One of our clients is missing a bunch of PDF documents that were stored in filefields and I was going crazy trying to figure out how they could have just up and vanished, when I came across this post. So, nons3ns, which of these modules do you happen to have installed? I'm hoping we can narrow down the list significantly...

If someone can provide steps to reproduce this problem I'll take another look. But as-is, I can't reproduce the problem and this is not a common report. Please reopen if steps to reproduce can be provided.
